KMA School Registration Form

Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is in progress.  Registration and school location information is available at www.mykyma.org.  Registration information has been mailed to students previously enrolled in the 2023-2024 school year.  All registration and payment will be online only this year at www.mykyma.org to be completed by 7/24/2024.

Tuition rates for 2024-2025  as follows:  Full-time enrollment (1 night per week) is $2,300, cost covers the entire school year (both semesters) including books & shop materials.  Any student needing to make up a class will be required to pay for that class according to the class time required.   For a ½ year class or ½ night per week, tuition will be $1,150.  For a ¼ year course, tuition will be $575. Payment and registration are online only at www.mykyma.org.  No refunds can be issued after the first night of class.

Previous Post Secondary Education Transcripts:  Student transcripts must be submitted to [email protected] no later than 07/01/2024 for credit consideration towards the KMA program.  Transcripts received after that date will not be accepted.

The attendance policy for the 2024-2025  school year is the same as last year.  In order for a student to receive a certificate of completion from the Kentuckiana Machining Association, classroom attendance is required.   Therefore, no excused absences will be granted for any reason.  For each class missed, student’s final grade will be reduced by 4 points.  Furthermore, a student will not pass a class if they miss more than 15% of the required class meeting hours.  Minimum attendance requirements forms will be given to each student the first week of classes.

School locations:  Location varies by class (Southern HS or Jeffersontown HS)

College Credit Hours can be awarded to students who choose to further their education and enroll at Jefferson Community Technical College Louisville Campus to pursue an associate’s degree in machining or a related area of study.  Based on the current agreement between the Kentuckiana Machining Association and Jefferson Community Technical College, up to 48 credit hours can be awarded to the student at no cost (except for JCTC admission fee).  Upon completion of the KMA program and acceptance to JCTC Jefferson Campus credit hours would be transferred directly into JCTC.  An associate’s degree from JCTC typically requires 67-72 credit hours, up to 48  hours already earned through the KMA.
