Registration deadline is Monday 7/21/2025.

Tuition rates for 2025-2026  as follows:  Full-time enrollment (1 night per week) is $2,500, total reflects cost of the entire school year (both semesters) including books & shop materials.

Students pursuing a KMA certificate must register for all classes (both semesters) in a specific grade / year (i.e. Freshman).   Previously enrolled students must also register to repeat any previously failed / incomplete classes the immediate year following the failure / incompletion.  All classes are available individually for students not pursuing a certificate. Prerequisites required for classes with an *asterisk.

No refunds will be issued after 08/10/2025.  Transaction fees (3% currently) will be deducted from any refunded amount.

Previous Post Secondary Education Transcripts:  Student transcripts must be submitted to [email protected] no later than 07/01/2025 for credit consideration towards the KMA program.  Transcripts received after that date will not be accepted.

The attendance policy for the 2025-2026  school year is the same as last year.  In order for a student to receive a certificate of completion from the Kentuckiana Machining Association, classroom attendance is required.   Therefore, no excused absences will be granted for any reason.  For each class missed, student’s final grade will be reduced by 4 points.  Furthermore, a student will not pass a class if they miss more than 15% of the required class meeting hours.  Minimum attendance hours requirements form will be given to each student the first week of classes.

School locations:  Location varies by class and night (Southern HS or Jeffersontown HS)

College Credit Hours may be awarded to students who choose to further their education and enroll at Jefferson Community Technical College Louisville Campus to pursue an associate’s degree in machining or a related area of study.  Based on the current agreement between the Kentuckiana Machining Association and Jefferson Community Technical College, up to 48 credit hours may be awarded to the student at no cost (except for JCTC admission fee and KMA transcript fee).  Upon completion of the KMA program and acceptance to JCTC Jefferson Campus credit hours will be transferred directly into JCTC.  An associate’s degree from JCTC typically requires 67-72 credit hours, up to 48 credit hours earned through the KMA program.
